Integration with the company’s TLC system

Background

Given the critical circumstances caused by dusty and noisy working conditions and signal transmission problems in a rocky environment, in this project it was essential to guarantee, first of all, the availability and traceability of the telephone devices (present both in the booths SOS as in the operating machines that carry out the excavation, and in the offices of the work).

On top of the environmental challenges, some of their communication devices were analog and not available in a digital version. The challenge was to find a way of integrating them as well with a technologically advanced ecosystem like 3CX.

This new implementation certainly had to consider the integration with the company’s current communication system, ensuring its management in a simple and effective way.

Solutions

The company, after an initial phase of technical and economic evaluation of the project presented, chose to converge on a solution based on 3CX on premise. The whole system was redundant and we guaranteed communication with the company’s historical communication system (which is not based on 3CX).

In addition to enjoying the typical 3CX advantages of scalability and easy administration, XERA specialists were able to implement a disaster recovery system for the TLC infrastructure, technologically more advanced than the standard recovery and failover solution proposed by the Provider.
